With an help from the Women in Math and Science, the Youth Reclamation Project, our quartets Lark and the Barbers of Cville, our many sponsors, our friends and families and a wonderful audience, the JLC proved that hard work and dedication can result in a great evening's entertainment.
The show began with Fran the Airline Hostess advising us about our journey. We then journeyed with the audience through the ages of barbershop from the very beginning to the modern era. There were humorous moment and ringing chords throughout. We sang classics like Down By the Old Mill Stream, Oh Shenandoah, Shine and even songs written by our members.
The Youth Reclamation Project did a full set showing why they are Barbershop Harmony Society champions.
The show closed with us presenting a plaque to Scott Seki for his efforts as director over the last year and his effect of revitalizing the Chorus and making the show possible.
We're already planning for next year, so stay tuned!
